Booooooom and Adobe have partnered up for a photo project and contest called “Remake“, which asks people to recreate famous works of art using photography. Below is a sample of images from the contest. Taking a slightly different approach to the idea, photographer Josef Fischnaller shoots portraits that recreate famous paintings by the Old Masters, often including some humorous modern day elements in the scene. Maisie Broadhead is an artist and image maker who lives and works in London. Broadhead graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2009 and is currently represented by the Sarah Myerscough Gallery in London. Maise has also looked to the works of the past for inspiration.
