The Selfie project sparked an interesting conversation about the subjectivity of color. Many of us realized we have some very strong preconceived notions about color. Load a a piece of scrap paper with a small dap of each of the basic acrylic colors, again, avoiding the use of black. Start mixing your skin tone, periodically dabbing color swatches on the back of your hand to test for accuracy. Write down your findings and reactions in your IWB as you go. Write down the final "recipe" when you've achieved an accurate match. Make note of how long it took you to perfectly match your skin tone. If you finish quickly, work wit a partner and attempt to match their tone as well.
DO NOT paint on your skin if you know you are allergic to acrylic paint.
